      No support as a mental health provider. When the nurse says it's over, it's over, no professional development outside of medical concerns, no collegiality

      Pros

      Employees come to work knowing the challenges and give it all they have.

      Cons

      Upper Management doesn't see the effort and understand the obstacles the employees must endure to complete their task. Employee's see sickness and death all day and there are know mechanisms in place to insure employee's are comforted and are receiving support. They have titles such as nurse, nurse aides, clerks, etc.. but at the end of the day they are just like everyone else and they go home to their families with all the memories of the day.
