      Pros

      I worked for Sutter Hospice for many years as a hospice aide. Great group of people to work with. Everyone has great respect and admiration for each other's work. Pto is granted more often than not. Excellent health and dental coverage. Thankful for the opportunity to work in the hospice field.

      Cons

      Productivity standards are unrealistic for hospice aides. No work/life balance. Management does not always listen when hospice aides request assistance with high acuity patients. Traveling around San Francisco to see 6 patients and adjusting your schedule to accommodate patients, can be very demanding at times.
