Pros

The team at Suttle-Straus is awesome. We, as designers in their internal Creative department, have an unfair advantage being able to utilize all of our in-house capabilities to come up with the best concepts and design for our clients. There are internal and external learning opportunities that allow us to grow and provide more efficiency in our work. The people are great, as well as the flexibility the company provides. I would highly recommend Suttle-Straus to anyone looking to start a career in a print and/or creative industry.

Cons

It's a large organization with a lot of moving parts so it could be hard for a new person to navigate.

Pros

Suttle-Straus is an extremely well run organization. They treat their employees with great respect and encourage them to learn new skills and responsibilities. The CEO sets a great example for others to follow. This organization truly operates by their core values!

Cons

Suttle-Straus is a very responsive for their customer base. This is a big part of their success but the workload can be a challenge occasionally.

Pros

Suttle-Straus is a great place to work with their up beat company culture and friendly, down to earth employees. - good base salary - great company culture - opportunity to move around in the company - encourage and pay for continued education/learning - transparency from the executive teams (they hold company wide meeting 2-4 times a year about company performance, its direction, and a break down of profits / costs)

Cons

Technology department is small. The company is pushing for growth through their e-commerce platform and technology solutions, however there seems to be less of a commitment to the growth and maturity of the department that is driving the platform.
