      Pros

      Swagelok is a great place to work. It is a collaborative work environment, has high quality products, has great people to work with, excellent bonus structure, career advancement, and good benefits and vacation programs.

      Cons

      Becasue of the highly collaborative environment, it is slow to make decsions so entreprenuerial individuals can find the enviroment a bit stiffling until they adjust.

      Pros

      Decent pay for a Machine operator. The 10 percent shift bonuse is nice.

      Cons

      There is a lot of pressure not to mess up. The health insurance options have gotten alot worse.

      Pros

      Swagelok is a very financially stable company with excellent products and an unmatched distribution network. The benefits were good and the salaries were also better than many companies in the same industries. They have a philosophy of no lay offs for full time non-contract employees.

      Cons

      Swagelok's business and the industries they serve are very mature, so there is not a lot of change going on. Company is very political, often placing people in positions because of relationship as opposed to qualifications.
