Pros

Swagelok's culture. Free pop, bagels, fruit, coffee, tea, and condiments even free feminine hygiene products! Money toward safety glasses. Money toward steel-toed shoes. Medical benefits are better than most companies, even with the change coming next year. No lay-off philosophy means peace of mind. Free uniforms and laundering. Free Swagelok hats. Competitive wages. Many opportunities for advancement. Many associates at 30+ years of employment. People who come to work at Swagelok and like the culture tend to stay forever.

Cons

Becoming a little top heavy as Swagelok continues to add more management positions. Work continues to increase at the lower levels, but we are not adding more people to handle the larger work load.

Great people, who know what they are doing. Given time to develop and learn the Swagelok way. Great assets to work with.

Cons

Contract employees of all levels are not treated the same as full time employees. I see a need to train machine operators better.
