Pros

Good staff discount and met some nice team members

Cons

Little training. False promises from head office on career progression. No progression available, they will rather hire someone from outside than to promote their own staff. Head office employees and regional manager will come to do store visits and they won't even say hello to any of the staff they will only talk to the managers or who is in charge. Manager will be in office a lot of the time and leave to the senior sales consultants to manage the floor. Had to use aggressive and fake sales pitch to customers. There is NO WORK LIFE BALANCE, because of the new system you need to be available 7 days a week and if you need a certain day off you need to justify it etc. A lot of bullying is going on in store and head office employees are arrogant and will treat shop based staff as if they are uneducated while in actual fact most of their shop based staff are more educated than those who work in the head office but they will still treat you in a disrespectful manner. In the 3 years I worked for the company not once have I seen or anyone hear anything from the Managing director, good leaders tend to be approachable and communicate to their employees well this never happens in this company they seem to think they are all too important to ever congratulate or just nicely communicate to the staff who really work very hard so that they can achieve their bonuses
