Pros

- work/life balance due to flexibility - 25 PTO per year including holidays - 200 USD additional to your salary for internet + gym + health insurance expenses - up to 1000 USD per year to use it on professional career expenses like online courses, etc. - free english classes - Every coworker is always willing to help if you have any questions - HR and CEO are very toughtful about employees and do everything in their power to make us feel good and appreciated - You often have almost full autonomy on your tech decisions for a brand new project. This may be a con for some people who prefer guidance at 100% - projects are often very interesting and requires high quality in tech and developers, which is good if you like to push yourself a little bit.

Cons

- the salary may be “good” enough in LATAM but right now is well below the market average. - some team members are too inexperienced (not only devs) and because of it, becomes very difficult to keep the good quality or the delivery in time if you are the only one who really take ownership seriously. - if you are an experienced engineer and look to improve your leadership you have plenty of chances here, but if you are looking to work in development you will have a lot of headaches having to fix the mess that the unexperienced devs do (because often those are more than 50% of the team).

Good to start, not great to stay

Pros

Good salary, regular benefits, exciting projects (if you enjoy fitness)

Cons

- Bad organization. At least in my case, we struggled with very aggressive deadlines, and clients used to change anything whenever they wanted. - Delay in payments, sometimes - Not good for growing up. I started as a jr and today I am doing Lead tasks without having a salary increase or role update.
