Pros

Upward mobility Awesome coworkers (go figure. Other musicians) I get to talk about musical equipment and instruments all day. Not bad This company really really cares about us. Some folks get caught up in minor details about what’s fair and what’s not, but I’m not sure if they’ve worked at many other mid-sized companies. This is a generous place full of generous people - and I’m able to offer that to my customers in turn. The model works. Not to mention the benefits and perks ain’t bad at all.

Cons

Long hours and a culture that encourages them Commission-based pay is a double edged sword and it takes years to reach a comfortable stability

Pros

Unlimited commission if you make 100 calls a day every day consistently for a full straight year.

Cons

Management in the beginning wants you to make 80 plus calls a day and will reprimand you if you don’t, even though senior sales engineers can make 10 calls a day and have more job security.
