      Like minded musicians as coworkers Some really great team members

      Cons

      Rapid growth caused a lot of extra work without subsequent pay raises Current employees often passed over for promotions Lack of transparency from leadership in regards to pay, career growth, etc.

      Pros

      As stated in the headline, everyone at Sweetwater has a desire to succeed in their roles. Not just for themselves, but for their respective teams, and the good of the company. There's a real sense of camaraderie and that's not just within the teams, but across the entire company. If you have any interest in moving to the company, or moving into different positions within the company, but are unsure if you are capable of filling that desired role, Sweetwater will do everything it can to help you get there. Being the Sweetwater difference is a phrase often coined there, and to me that means being authentic and passionate about your work.

      Cons

      The store staff could be treated better. Their pay is not the greatest and the sales commission within the store pales in comparison to what the sales team upstairs gets. The store operations management could be better. They're understaffed, underpaid, and morale is generally low. Ideas to improve workflow are often met with resistance by management, but then those ideas are later brought up and claimed by management. Overall, the store staff deserve better.

      Lots of perks. Gym and diner on site, free employee events, access to counseling and financial help

      Cons

      The management is a mess and cannot figure out how to train people properly. They are also very passive and depend on everyone to discipline each other.
