One of the few positions in planning/dispatching that was not required to work on the weekend.

Cons

Not in a great part of town. Start out pay was low compared to years of knowledge in the industry.

Plenty of work & quality equipment. Huge company, very comfortable atmosphere among drivers, Top of the line driver lounge with friendly helpful staff at your finger tips.

Cons

Management= constantly pestering you while driving = you need to find somewhere to safely park a 53 plus foot rig to read and answer their trivial demand's. If I was getting paid by the hour and didn't care weather my delivery made it on time Id still be pissed, all I want to do is enjoy the ride.

NOT ONE THING There are no pros. Hard to write something positive when there is nothing to write. If you want pro the Jake Brake Cafe has Great Food.

Cons

Lying driver managers. They will be your best bud to your face and lie and screw you behind your back Poor Load Planners. Will entice you to lease a beautiful new Kenworth and then not give the files to make a living to support your family. Or to be a profitable Business Owner. BOTTOM LINE SWIFT IS HORRIBLE Google the amount of Law Suites against Swift.
