Pros

Lots of support from Supervisors and fellow technicians. Pay is good for the area (San Diego, CA).

Cons

When demands are met, you are often not recognized for your accomplishments (just another day). Lots of micro-managing from terminal personnel (too many chiefs, not enough Indians).

Pros

My orientation was held in Menasha, WI. They paid for my Greyhound fare from Milwaukee. Paid for lodging at La Quinta Hoel for 3 days. Free hotel breakfast. Lunch they paid for during orientation held at swift terminal in Menasha. Overall the orientation process is informative. Got my medical and drug test done and paid for by swift.

Cons

A lot of waiting around. Kiosk slow. Overall I'm pleased with the hiring and orientation process.

There is no way to talk to the people in high up and they have no communication with anyone I'm very unhappy with the problems we are having as o/o in flatbed and the things that have been told to me and my codriver who feels as if it's her fault that we get junk I didn't have this problem when I ran solo but now she is back on the truck it's as if they want us to quit
