I started with a mentor and did my 200 hrs @33 cents a mile, great trainer learned all the ups and downs of trucking. Swift is a great company to work for. if you wanna work hard and not sit in a truck stop, they will give you all the runs you can do, it is totally up to you how much money you will make run hard and you will get paid', now I am leaseing to own and doing very well . over 1300 a week

Pros

Easy training, ability to start quickly with no experience. But I have nothing else good to say about the company. They are too big.

Cons

There are so many cons at this company. Driver leaders say they are concerned about your success but don't work hard to keep you running. They call you in from the road way too often for redundant training and safety meetings. The majority of customers are rude and thoughtless and Swift does nothing to stand by its drivers.
