Pros

Everything! The management team is wonderful and has a genuine interest in each and every employee. They invest their time in helping instructors grow. They are as flexible as they can be, given the importance of consistency for kids. Working with kids is fun, and the SwimLabs environment is so unique. I literally won't teach people to swim anywhere else because I heavily rely on the tools and visuals SwimLabs offers. Great place for swimmers with a competitive background to use their knowledge - the video analysis takes private lessons for competitive swimmers to the next level. But, also great for anyone who loves working with kids. The competitive program is just a plus for those with the background. Fair pay with perks like accruing PTO, gym memberships, incentives, etc.

Cons

Working with kids/in the pool can be tiring so I think part-time instructing is best. But this goes for any instructor position, not specific to SwimLabs.
