Growing Startup with a Strong Company Culture
Pros
The people are what make Swing an amazing company to work with and for. From my very first interaction with them one year ago, it was clear to me that their company culture was deeply woven into its fabric. As a team, we are provided with many, and ongoing, opportunities to grow and develop. As a company, we are deeply and equally committed to the success of our substitutes and our school partners. The co-founders make themselves accessible and do a really great job listening to the heartbeat of the business. The managers are incredibly capable and joyfully share their experiences while empowering their teams to make decisions and drive results. Swing invests in technology to keep us connected, retreats to strengthen our interpersonal relationships, and professional development to ensure we have the tools that we need to do what we love.
Cons
I have not come up against a "con" to-date (though I do personally wish that I lived closer to HQ in order to spend more time with them day-to-day).
