Pros

Good work-life balance. Big comfortable office in a spectacular countryside. Lots of training and travel opportunities. Laid back culture. Great benefits. I had worked in two departments. In the first one it was awful, in the other it was great. The culture and management quality was not consistent across the company.

Cons

The starting salary was above average, but afterwards there was no increase offered. I left after three years of waiting for a promotion. The management tried hard to improve the career opportunities for women, by trial and error with a lot of error. But the good intention was there. Perhaps the biggest issue is the belief, coming from the Swiss mentality, that it's an employment for life and people would be ok with working in the same position, no promotion or raise, for decades. That grows old fast.

Pros

Teleworking, compensation, benefits, large bonus.

Cons

Difficult to be promoted and get a raise unless you are close friends with someone else within, too much change always re-training.

Pros

Excellent work/life balance. Global presence. A well respected, name brand company. The 401k match is outstanding.

Cons

Lack of advancement opportunities. Annual salary increases have become a thing of the past and bonus amounts continue to decrease year after year. Employee contributions for health care and other benefits have become expensive for families.
