Pros

Fair pay and benefits, plus commission. Fair to employes who actually show up and do what is asked of them.

Cons

Lots of change with new leadership, it's not necessarily bad but it is a big culture shift. It creates a lot of complaining from employees, which is honestly more annoying than the actual changes.

Pros

When I first joined which was in the middle of the pandemic, it was everything I needed at the time since the world was in pure chaos. A job where I could work remotely from anywhere and make decent money was exactly what I needed.

Cons

Micro-managing- Managers will track what time your signing on and off regardless of performance. No work life balance: its EXPECTED of employees to work long nights and weekends. If you’re not doing so leadership will say you’re not in it to win it. No diversity: The company loves to brag about being a woman run business, but all the women in positions of power are White. There are about 5 Black employees TOTAL at the company. Very few Brown or Asian faces as well. Metrics: The metrics are impossible to reach. They do not care about the market or trends you’re expected to perform. No room for growth: Theres absolutely no opportunity for growth here. Constant changes: I had 6 managers in less than 4 years. I was once told by a member of leadership that I did not make “f*ck you money” so my opinion did not matter. It’s a toxic environment.

Pros

Remote work and opportunity for commission.

Cons

Swoon is the type of company that knows you have financial plans in the near future (e.g., wedding, vacation, moving) and will let you go. It is the type of company that knows you have dedicated several years to it, and will let you go. It is the type of company that pushes for you to meet their metrics, and even if you do, will let you go. It is the type of company that will tell you to “roll with the punches” and “be flexible” despite the high turnover rate and shift in management (4 less than 5 years to be exact), and will let you go. It’s the type of company where there is growth - for only certain people. This should let you know what kind of company this is.
