Great opportunities to make an immediate impact on an innovative product. Lots of novel and challenging problems in the field of robotics. Compelling product, unlike other solutions on the market. Engaged and talented co-workers. Company is finally gaining focus on next generation design to address many underlying technical issues.

Cons

Historically, the company has struggled to meet customer commitments leading to organization instability and shifting directives. The product has incredible potential, but the company has lacked the focus needed to resolve technical hurdles in the way. Highly dynamic environment, with tight development timelines.

I was hired right out of college and the other employees helped a lot in terms of training and getting up to speed. Because the company is still young and growing rapidly, there was not proper training material yet established. Every one was happy to lend a hand

Cons

Space. Like some other reviews, the current working environment is a bit crowded. But this isn't a bad thing, as plans to relocate are being finalized.

Symbotic really lacks strong leadership. The team doesn't keep up with new technology and feels left behind. Most of the work focuses on very basic problems, and there's a clear effort to avoid building or adopting new solutions. There's also a lack of progress when it comes to launching or completing meaningful new projects, which makes growth feel stalled.
