I think our work is pretty interesting too and want employees to feel like there are opportunities to learn and advance in their careers. Our rotations are designed to ensure actuaries gain deep knowledge in our complex, regulated environment, but I can appreciate how they may feel slow at times.

I love reading positive comments about work life balance, especially from someone who works on a perpetually busy team. Symetra does its best to keep medical plan costs down, and offers a Health Savings Account that the company contributes to throughout the year, with a large portion frontloaded at the beginning of the year, to help with out-of-pocket expenses.
