Goodluck with staff. No one wants you to excel over them because it will make them look bad. Instead of communicating with your staff as management to check in they send you a letter terminating you in the mail how unprofessional! Never late the job and one call out for an emergency!

Being a Lab Technician, you have the opportunity to go to Germany for Flavorist training. It sounds really great in the interview, but it is most definitely not a guarantee. You are a lab tech for 2 years minimum, but most likely longer. The lab techs don’t assist flavorists in creating formulas, do not attend any meetings, and attend minimal tastings (even if you made the flavor). Most of the time you are just making a formula and there’s very little exposure to anything else. Should you decide this is not for you, I found it difficult to change departments.
