Experience Varies Wildly

Pros

The company is on an upward trajectory and if you are willing to weather the storm, you will be rewarded. This company has some stellar individuals who are a pleasure to work with. You will learn at this company, though the vast majority of what you will learn has nothing to do with your training.

Cons

This is a fragmented company that does not have a unified voice or culture. It's hard to fix this in a remote/pandemic economy, however, it's hard not to feel like there is a certain 'club' at this company. This company acquires platforms to bring into one comprehensive data management home for their customers. It's a great tool for customers if everything works. If it works is the keyword. Getting it to work is a challenge when you have disconnected teams who come from legacy companies who are bringing in tribal knowledge who tend to not stay around long enough after being acquired.

Great Place to Work

Pros

The company promotes a diverse work environment and actively cultivates diversity. Discussion opportunities, book clubs and digital resources are available to stimulate diversity, change and company culture. Team coordination is active and efficient. We are diligent to have all necessary people in meetings in order to prioritize work and plan out work scope. Acquisitions have created opportunities and stability indicating job security as well as company growth.

Cons

I don't have a lot of Cons. At the moment I haven't been able to bring to mind many of them. At times meetings were plentiful with larger numbers of people. For my team that has been rectified and Syndigo was willing to make appropriate changes so that only employees necessary were required to be in the meeting.

Pros

new office downtown Chicago, new office in Lisle. opened new office in Cleveland. Company is investing in technology. Growing company, so there is growth opportunity for employees. Leadership is accessible and open to input. PTO policy is reasonable.

Cons

several acquisitions in the last year which have brought changes. There are more changes likely in the future. If you don't want to work at a place that is changing as it grows, this won't be the company for you. Health insurance is through Cigna. No tuition reimbursement. Should improve parental leave policy. No pre-tax transit. Downtown office and Lisle office aren't particularly well connected to one another, so it's almost like two different companies in one metro area.
