Pros

Supportive Culture: Syndio fosters a collaborative environment where open communication and feedback are encouraged. I appreciate the willingness of leadership to listen and implement changes that improve the day-to-day work experience. Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: The company focuses on equitable practices and transparent data, building a workplace where employees feel respected and valued. Opportunities for Professional Development: There are plenty of chances to learn and grow, whether through internal training programs or challenging projects that push me out of my comfort zone. Flexible Work Environment: The balance between structure and autonomy allows me to manage my workload effectively and maintain a good work-life balance.

Cons

Resource Allocation: At times, it feels like certain teams are stretched too thin, which impacts project timelines and overall efficiency. More streamlined resource planning could enhance productivity. Communication Gaps: Although efforts are made to maintain transparency, there are occasional communication lapses between departments that could be improved for smoother collaboration. Scalability Concerns: As the company continues to grow, there is a need to update processes to keep pace with rapid expansion and evolving market demands.

Pros

Was a special place years ago. Leaders pretend to care but have no problem setting unachievable goals and refuse to change even when all the top talent does a mass evacuation. So many customers are going back to their lawyers in the current environment. Europe is good but US market is done with Dei....so ya no pros

Cons

Say they pay fair but after checking out all the incredible talent that quit everyone got significantly hire salary. Mine was 30k more. Pulling everyone into offices. No chance for progression unless you are a favorite and then you will be promoting to a role you are under qualified for and given no support. Leadership at all levels micro managed.

Short-sighted, cowardly leadership

Pros

* Engineering organization is high quality, * Leadership is generally open about their motivations. * Remote work friendly (for now). * Pay is good. * Promotion opportunities are excellent.

Cons

* Leadership chases trends while claiming to be industry leader. * Leadership is cowardly and will not stand for principles (e.g. being scared of anti-DEI backlash even though company's core mission is to improve equity and opportunity). * Leadership is untrustworthy about hiring and many indicators of wanting to force a fully remote company into office situation, e.g. remote employee hiring was limited to expensive "core cities", then unannounced change to only hiring tech leadership from another city (again due to leadership trend-chasing). * After a wave of layoffs, finance in an all-hands meeting was openly excited and slapping themselves on the back for "right sizing" in the face of surviving employees. * Toxic positivity.
