      -Large company with great name recognition -Opportunities at all levels and indications

      Cons

      -Culture has eroded badly, resulting in severe lack of resources, which means they are working people to death to cover the work they have. -Their promotion process is painfully slow and rigid (only one promotion window of 3 weeks in the last year) -Lack of adequate systems to do the work

      the exit opportunties are the only pros to this job and company

      the people are terrible, they will overwork you and not care about you or your mental health. you are just a number and will be replaced if they don't like you (even if your performance is good). the turnover is insanely high with most people leaving after just one year.

      Pros

      I worked with a fantastic team, and my line managers up to the director level were amazing. I enjoyed my day-to-day work and interactions with my colleagues.

      Cons

      Salary was on the lower end of the market range for the position. Senior leadership was scattered with poor succession planning, leaving our group without a true manager for 2 years. Senior leadership did not understand the function of my role and thought it was unimportant and easy for incoming editors to learn, even though the types of documents we worked on are all very different from each other and require a different approach for data verification and internal consistency checking. Syneos kept acquiring new companies with poor integration strategies in place, leaving employees confused about reporting relationships. Information technology support was laughable; we were better off trying to fix things ourselves than to ask for support from IT. Benefits were so-so, and expensive. No carryover of unused PTO. Syneos made a big deal of making MLK day a paid holiday with no mention whatsoever that they took away a flex holiday as a result.
