      Synopsys is a engineering driven organization, where engineers have influence on a lot of projects and direction of the company.A steady reliable company in midst of upturns and downturns in the economy.

      Cons

      Not easy to grow fast in the organization, even if performance is great. Management is not always upto the mark.

      Good technology company, working on latest innovations for electronic design, a global company with presence in all regions and a nice atmosphere.

      Cons

      Growth for EDA industry overall is slow, Synopsys is not an exception to this issue and EDA industry as a whole needs to find ways to grow.

      Open culture, good peers, cutting edge technology. Easy to work with people from different countries. Optimum travel and understanding of peers.

      Cons

      No proper growth path. Difference in policies for employees. No consistency in response from the management. Lack of flexibility, immature managers.
