      Great company, but manager is brutal with 0 leadership skills

      Pros

      Smart amazing people. Very team oriented and collaborative.

      Cons

      My manager makes my life at work miserable including his/her entire team. Very short fused. Holds grudges. Sharp tongue. Always angry. Has no mentorship skills. Yells at team in front of stakeholders. Snaps at stakeholders. Very forgetful, therefore, always contradicting what they say. Makes directions on what they want very confusing because they change their mind constantly. There have been so many complaints to my managers manager already. He/she got a very poor ratings last year and still no change. Most everyone on his/her team ready to leave. Why has upper management and HR not stepped in to do something?

      It gets the one star only because it is a stable company

      Cons

      It has poor management where favoritism is prevalent. Diversity is only for show-offs and is not practiced. It has no regards for its employees and layoffs are a recurring theme.

      Review for SIG division - Great work life balance, nice people

      - Office is just near the SF Caltrain station, very walkable - Great work life balance, no fierce competition and tendency to rush things - Dedicated focus on diversity and nice work culture - Very smart people, the analysis team is comprised of PhDs and application teams also have quality people as the hiring standards are high - The SIG division is growing and with the launch of the new Polaris SaaS platform, business is expected to grow a good amount Benefits: - 4% 401K match - ESPP (15% discount, max 10% of base salary) -10-12% annual bonus - Access to free Coursera and other learning resources - Reimbursements for education expenses - Caltrain pass for the full month / clipper card reimbursements - Weekly massages (limited spots) - Fruits, Snacks, coffee

      Cons

      - The main issue is about the compensation, pay is average / below average. - The promotions do not have any significant impact on the total compensation - No catered lunch or dinner like other places - Not much team building activities, may be once or twice a year
