Pros

Quality of life- we work very hard but also understand life balance and Senior management does honestly feel that family comes first. Synoptek also knows who they are and what they do very well. Communication with Sr Management is very open and easy

Cons

Some parts of on-boarding could be a little smoother. For myself, not a big problem as I have been around the block and don't need hand holding. But if I were a less experienced person, there may be times that it could be tougher.

Cons

Lack of coherent vision or strategy for adaptation to marketplace value. This puts employees in a fend-for-yourself mode. Organic growth is low and acquisition growth is very disruptive as the integration approach is immature and encourages a chaotic collection of top heavy leadership with too many opinions and not enough direction. there is a definite Accenture feel, which is low on value-chain authority and high on per-project ad hoc and temporary resource collaboration. VP's are slow or hesitant to make decisions, and the fires they allow to start are blamed on others. Lots of tension as leaders vie for their careers. Customers sometimes suffer the lack of coordination.
