Worst years of my life

Pros

Pay and benefits were better than average.

Cons

Everything else. Gaslighting, moving goal posts, subtle verbal abuse, no faith in employees, micromanagement, being constantly reminded that you are easily replaceable, watching entire departments like regulatory get outsourced. All of that, and you will likely not gain any new skills to add to your resume.

Pros

I work for the company for over 3 years. It is a good company for someone who wants to collect a paycheck. Good pay and benefit. if short, make your customer happy and sit back to collect your paycheck. For real....

Cons

if you want more for yourself, go somewhere else. if you love to challenge yourself, do more than your everyday job. Forget... ain't gonna happen with sysmex.

Good place to work remotely

Pros

Very good pay, performance based bonuses, telecom allowance or business phone, company vehicle or vehicle allowance for remote employees, company credit card for business related expenses. If you feel underappreciated and work hard at your current position, this is a place that allows you to stand out. Workaholics will thrive here. Generous PTO, management actively encourages PTO use, it's not discouraged to take week-long PTO several times per year, at least in my work group. While work is mostly independent, asking questions, curiosity, and assistance is readily available. If you are MT or MLS looking for employment outside of the lab, I would seriously consider Sysmex.

Cons

With each product, there are a few key employees who have the majority of knowledge and experience. If you have questions that only these people have answers to, they are always very busy and it can time some time to hear back. Promotion inside a work group can be a slow process, if advancement is important to you, look for advancement opportunities outside of your work group. In-house employees work typical 9AM-5PM central time schedules, if you are remote and need help from someone at HQ outside of these hours you'll be waiting until they either come in for the day or until the next morning; not a big deal if you are on central time but can be problematic if you are working on the east or west coast.
