Pros
Realising that TK Maxx routinely lies about its RRP - for example whilst working on customer services a gentleman, absolutely fuming, brought back a coat he had bought from our store for £200, which as per the RRP stated £600. He explained he had gone into the French Connection store where the same coat was on sale for £50. This was not a one off.
Cons
Force staff to buy own uniforms with the 10% discount in store (making it a pretty damn expensive uniform). Impossible to use discount on family and friends. Check your wage slips against your hours worked (I worked in two stores and both would regularly get employees hours "wrong". Always underpaid though, never over) Shifts would change regularly without warning, with the rota for the following week often not going up until the Saturday evening.
