      Pros

      Very good pay Friendly staff (largely) Easy and manageable work Mostly busy Very well connected to charities Opportunity for promotion

      Cons

      Bad management Poor organisation Hours change weekly Change of management can mean your job is not secure-when I transferred to university and wanted to come back to my home store, the new manager seemed to ignore my years of service and failed offer me a transfer back, effectively unemployment.

      Pros

      The pay is great and so many opportunities to excel within. They also have a great employee benefits.

      Cons

      Very fast-paced. You only get 1 hour break if you work from 6+ hours

      Great concept, poor management

      Pros

      Nice team atmosphere amongst the Associate level staff on the shop floor. Good training programme (paid). You are given a lot of responsibility if you want it.

      Cons

      Awful management. Rotas are released weekly (and then changed at random!) so you can't really plan ahead to do stuff with friends/family unless you officially book time off/annual leave. If rotas were done at least fortnightly, it would be much easier to maintain your family life. Only 10% discount too which is hardly worth having.
