Pros

One pro is the salary, T.K.Maxx pay above minimum wage and value their employees. Secondly the actual job role, employees are trusted and empowered to make decisions and show leadership.

Cons

Speed of Progression would be the only con. Restrictions on certain aspects of progression can lengthen the whole process.

Pros

Good salary, the company has a good reputation for customer service, therefore it looks good on further career options and also enables you to develop customer service. T K Maxx are a professional company/coorperation and everything must be done to a high standard which prepares you for future careers of high pressure. The hours are flexible and you can apply for overtime if you need, however, you do not get paid any extra for this, it is simply added contract hours per week. Overall, the work atmosphere and fellow colleagues are friendly and welcoming.

Cons

The work load per individual is very high due to the high volumes of customers and messy shop floors. You cannot leave the shop until the standard of displays are adequate which can be very VERY late at times. Discount is also only 10%.

Pros

Good hourly rate flexible around your time many opportunities to transfer job internally. Never under staffed a good starting point to gain experience in retailing

Cons

Bad management, some arrogant and jealous personalities in management, bad training development as in not planned but rather learn as you go through your time here.
