      A nice side job if you are still in education.

      Pros

      A nice job to have whilst still in education as hours can be worked around. Chances for apprenticeships and development of your skills. Will develop your strengths and weaknesses. Help you with your career future.

      Cons

      Not much chance for career development. Sometimes scared to ask for help as management weren't always willing to help. Management need to give more praise upon completing tasks. Need to think of giving employees more chances for career development. Need to think of incentives for employees. Need to be more considerate of Health and Safety. Need to be more considerate of employees welfare. Manager refused to write me a reference for my new job with weeks on end. Not given as much opportunities as others were.

      I worked for TKmaxx as a christmas temp (September 2013- January 2014) I mostly enjoyed the experience

      Pros

      I think the pay was good for the work that was involved, they were reasonably flexible with my work/social life, the best part of working for them was the other staff, they were always friendly and make working there more enjoyable.

      Cons

      I would say that the rotas were the weakest thing, they were only put up on a Friday and sometimes Saturday which meant there where only days to plan for the weekend and rest of the week especially if you where only in a few days a week

      Very different company culture than US parent

      Pros

      Great business model, very profitable, quality products and good outlook. Business model works well in good or bad economic times.

      Cons

      The positive company culture has not crossed the Atlantic from the US. Highly overpaid and underproductive areas of the business particularly in Human Resources. A highly political yet mediocre group of executives in the Europe environment. Hopefully the addition of the new CEO recently has made a difference
