      Everyone gets paid the same

      Cons

      Disorganised management were expecting too much of new staff and didn't provide any training. Multiple managers on duty at once with each telling staff different directions then getting annoyed at staff for doing what they were instructed to do by another manager. Actually felt like I was being picked on by a certain member of staff for no reason as well. Need to get a grip of themselves and get more organised. Couldn't get out quick enough.

      Pros

      The pay per hour at TK Maxx is very good in comparison to other retail stores. The wages are £8.85 during the probation period and increases to £9.15 after your first 3 months. There are a lot of employees and therefore room for people to work around other life committments e.g being in Education.

      Cons

      The managing staff can be quite condescending; there seems to be a clear divide between the regular sales assistants and anyone above them. Communication is weak.

      Great part time job but not full time

      Pros

      There's a diversity of people working for the company who are great. Some good products and discounts available. Great as a part time job especially as a student, for a fast pace company you learn quickly and about costumer service, however switching to full time turned for the worst.

      Cons

      False promises, overworked associates, favouritism, too much social politics within the work place and lack of communication.
