Pros
Fairly competitive wage and some perks, including discount. Given some feedback on how well you're doing. Shop floor staff had a good work ethic, as a lot is expected of you.
Cons
Disorganised. You were expected to do whatever overtime they give you, which impacted on my studies, as it did with most of the students that I spoke to there. I was contracted to 15 hours and regularly had to do double that. At least three other students left in the few months I was there. Rotas were often changed without you knowing. It could be changed an evening when you weren't in, for you to be in the next day, which meant you couldn't plan very easily around it. Some of the team leaders were rude and unfriendly. Management were civil with you as long you didn't try and say no to overtime. Given a couple of hours of till training in induction, then expected to remember everything when you were called on unexpectedly.
