Pros

-Great benefits such as the potential to get a free college degree - Big discounts on phone service - lots of vacation time flexibility - There are a number of different career fields available if you are willing to relocate

Cons

-Underpaid and very stingy on raises - Will gaslight you into believing you are overpaid - Despite saying they are all about career development there is significant gatekeeping preventing advancement -Executives care nothing about employees only shareholders -Layoffs have become a regular occurrence -Management offers the worst career advice and will find any reason not to promote someone

Pros

Excellent benefits. Healthcare coverage is phenomenal and fairly inexpensive. Salary is good, but stagnating.

Cons

You're tracked on dozens of different metrics to the point where doing the right thing means you'll get punished and potentially written up. It'll also likely cost you some commission. The ME role is very obviously being phased out in favor of the mobile app. There is zero realistic growth opportunities beyond the retail level. You will not make it beyond the store. Competition for District manager/market manager roles has dozens if not hundreds of people competing for few roles.
