Pros

Culture! Not for everyone, but having worked in multiple industries and large companies, this is by far the best one I've been in. It's also a land of opportunity for process improvements. Transitioning from a fast growth to a more mature company requires a lot of review of prior efforts to come up with new and better ways of doing things. One of the onboarding sessions has everyone take a quick personality profile and the majority of employees in my session liked change and more social environments, which is why T-Mobile has the culture it does.

Cons

Team together doesn't always apply, many groups are more interested in maintaining their processes than working together. Management doesn't force the issue many times and let's the stress foster.

Pros

T-Mobile is a very large company but you feel like you are part of a close knit family. They care about your individual success and want to make you the best you can be at your job by providing training and individual coaching from management. T-Mobile has a value system that the entire company truly lives by from the CEO to a customer care representative to a distrabutions manganger. It does not matter which department you work in; the values are used as a measuring tool to help rate your performance and to help you grow in your career. This is what truly helps T-Mobile separate itself from the rest of the wireless industry and is on it's way to being a world-class customer service organization.

Cons

The reporting system seems flawed. There are too many reports that show incorrect data which in turn leads to confusion about performance in some cases. It also seems that in some areas there is a lack of communication between different departments, for example when there is a transfer within the company that employee should be able to update their information in one area and all the other areas should be updated. Also, the T-Mobile brand as a whole is not nearly as known as a Verizon or At&t and more advertising about the award winning customer service and the quality of the network would be helpful for the entire company. There also could be more team building events that would help build morale within a specific team and help individuals get to know their fellow co-workers.

Pros

they have these values they try and say they live by, but too many people have their own objectives and hidden agenda and try and force their personal aspriation over the employee. they try and give fair compenations or rewards but due to their being performance based they have set up the employees to cheat on their metrics or cut short talk time at the expence of quality they do not recognize the quality they used to talk about as much as shaving a few secs off talk time "crt' to give the mployees a bonus to cutshort the cust experience

Cons

the above, and also the favoritism and drive to be so 'diversified' they misss out on qualified people
