Pros

T-Mobile is a large company with a good benefits package. Much like many large companies, it provides a reasonably safe place to start a career, but is not a place that supports rapid career development. A year or two at T-Mobile will help someone starting out to gain a list of contacts that will help them later in their career.

Cons

T-Mobile is a large company which means you get placed in a cubby hole and do not have the personal feel that you would get at other smaller organizations. T-Mobile has a tendency to overdo the touchy feely aspects of working there over-compensating for the lack of personal touch.

Pros

Besides monetary compensation T-Mobile offers a diverse benefits package, Full Health care, Flex Spending account, 401k, and Tuition Reimbursement up to $2500 a calendar year. T-Mobile also offers a wonderful employee phone program, as well as an discount program for products and services from partnered companies. Honestly tries to be the "Best Place to Work."

Cons

Little knowledge of company direction, every big move is a secret. Different treatment of employees dependent upon department. Inadequate recognition for accomplishments

Pros

Since you are grossly underpaid they are flexible with the family life. Taking off early for kids events is encouraged. Management is also quick to give an atta-boy, but it is always a pat on the back and small token. Working from home is common and accepted.

Cons

T-Mobile pays well under the current rates. Raises are anemic at best, a good raise for TOP performers is considered 2 -3 %. The Bonus program is a joke as my target is 10% to 15%. I have never gotten 10% over the course of a year. Bob Dotson said 2007 was T-Mobiles best year ever, shouldn't that of been reflected ini the bonuses? They are quick to cut a bonus metric to 50% for a near miss but won't give you that higher rating unless you walk on water. Cheap Company!
