Pros

It's an exciting time to be a part of TCDI as the company is invested in growth and expansion. Employees are valued within the organization and there are numerous perks including a gym, trainer, numerous company networking events and access to executives. The entire company is invested in giving back to the community through the TCDI cares program and employees are encouraged to find new organizations and initiatives to support. There are opportunities for employees to make a difference and take on new projects. With a strong client-focus and impressive technology, the company is well-positioned to go up against the market leaders.

Cons

There are the typical growing pains and challenge of disseminating information to the various teams.

One of the best places I've ever worked

Pros

There are a lot of pros about TCDI, but I will try to narrow it down to my top: 1. I have an infant daughter at home, and TCDI provides me the flexibility to work remotely in the event she becomes ill or is unable to go to daycare. This is so important, because I don't have any nearby family that would be able to watch her. It's nice knowing I don't need to worry about falling behind or getting reprimanded for taking care of my daughter. 2. It is a medium-sized company with a small company feel. Everyone in the office and those working remotely work close together, and it feels more like a family than just coworkers. You don't see that a lot in medium - large sized organizations. 3. Communication has improved dramatically. We currently have two office locations and a large handful of remote employees. Despite the distance, everyone is able to easily communicate with one another and maintain consistency between departments. 4. There has been tremendous room to expand my skills and grow within my department. I have had the chance to learn so much more than I ever anticipated and am very thankful for the opportunities that have been provided. 5. The senior management and C-Suite are all very approachable and happy to hear / implement ideas and suggestions you have.

Cons

Sometimes you are required to work more than the 40 hour work week. With that being said, it is important to remember that the industry plays a large factor in this. The environment is fast paced, because the industry is fast paced. We are also provided unlimited vacation days if salaried (within reason) with the expectation that the number of hours at the end of the year is comparable to that of a 40-hour average work week. So a con, but not really.

Take it for what it is

Pros

Take it for what it is. Decent benefits and salary. Ok place to learn.

Cons

Senior management controls everything. Clear favoritism, especially with an embarrassingly unqualified family member, and decisions made for unknown reasons.
