      Great Place to Work with ideal Work-Life Balance

      Pros

      Great work-life balance, interesting projects, and outstanding benefits. Even on difficult projects, there is open communication and plans to improve situations. This is clearly a company where employees are valued and employees can be in it for the long-haul.

      Cons

      Lots of remote work, so you need the ability to keep yourself on task. Great for those who are used to doing so, but can be challenging to not see your team often or at all.

      Company that Genuinely Cares about Employees, Clients, and the Community

      Pros

      TCG does a great job of a creating a healthy/positive work environment for employees, providing great service to customers, and having a social conscience. It's a tricky balancing act. This combination is rare in the world. I've worked in different roles in some very different industries and this company stands apart for its commitment to employees, customers, and the community. Coworkers are smart and talented which makes everyday interactions productive and engaging. Given that this review is coming from a marketing writer, you might be tempted to read this a little skeptically, but TCG is a great employer.

      Cons

      While remote work has become more of the norm during the pandemic, there are aspects of it that can be difficult, and it can be an adjustment if you’re used to going to the office everyday. However, keeping people connected is built into the ethos of the company, and they have a lot of programs and initiatives that help people connect professionally and socially.

      Excellent, very diverse, and socially conscious

      Pros

      I've never seen such a diverse workforce! Being a woman in IT, I'm used to having a few others on the team. TCG has a very nice mix of people from diverse backgrounds. Pay is competitive, benefits are good, and the company makes sure you feel appreciated from day one. They truly care about your opinion of the company, everyone is accessible and responsive, and they truly value a good work life balance. In addition to all of that, they are very socially conscious and extremely active in the community. They donate to several organizations, ask for employee input on what issues/orgs to support next, and provide many opportunities for their employees to volunteer.

      Cons

      The only thing that I can think of that could improve is their 401k contribution. However it is very nice if you are a younger employee, as they contribute even if you don't. Also, they have other benefits that many other companies do not, so overall very good benefits plan.
