Cons
You have to work 6 days per week with no set schedule. From the interview (worst hiring process) and throughout the training. They sell you on this workplace being a family and they are so helpful... my first week out on the floor should've given me enough red flags. We have been always short-staffed, at least 2 or 3 people quit per year. Management doesn't help you whatsoever, tells you to just look up whatever issue you have on Retail One or call Store Support. Severely understaffed on the teller side (winter is the WORST season). In my last year, I dreaded every night before having to go in the next day. After every last reason I had to quit, I still toughed it out until I couldn't. I truly feel bad for any new hires starting there soon. It helps to realize that it doesn’t make sense for you to be more invested than your manager. Remember, she just hired you to help, not the person they hired to take on 100% emotional responsibility for everything (if you were that person, you’d be getting paid a lot more).
