Pros

Great benefits, probably the best PTO available at any nationwide bank. Retirement plan is matched, employee bank account perk is extremely useful. Coworkers varied, but you get out what you put in, like any work environment. Training is good, but can't compensate for what you learn on the floor, so communicate clearly and learn quickly, and you'll have more good days than bad.

Cons

The higher up the corporate ladder, the more impersonal and inconsistent management gets. Turn over is high, and despite encouraging a message of "doing the right thing" for the customer, they are like any other bank and are concerned with sales revenue, even rewarding SR fraud until it needs to be addressed. SR goals are inconsistently set by region/store and therefore bonuses are awarded to those who exceed their percentage goal instead of volume. One HELOC application approval will exceed someone else's SR goal and output regardless of what they do, and are get told to do better.

Pros

Initial onboarding and training was great. Generous PTO for part time and full time employees.

Cons

Lots of job turn-over. I was hired part-time but due to prolonged staff shortage worked full-time hours without full time compensation, in a town that quadruples in population over the summer, I was 1 person doing the work of 3 people, with cheap "thank you's" thrown my way like cheesy keychains. 3 different managers in 6 months, all of which were horrible and had no respect for tellers, only had their own agendas. Of the 8 available positions, only 3 remained filled by the same people over 6 months. Not worth the great PTO when you can't even use it because there's no one to cover for you.

Pros

I liked the people I directly worked with.

Cons

- Low Pay - Poor Handling of COVID - Understaffed - Expect at least an hour wait if you need to go IT (regular occurrence) or HR - All tech/hardware is out of date and rundown. Not a day went by that something didn't break. - Little upward mobility. They're actively closing branches. - Fake care for employees. They'll smile and tell you they care but refuse to do bare minimum things. - Horrible call center customer service which leads to the internal branch being screamed at. - Bonus system is garbage. If you get a bad review for the ATM being broken, because TD won't fix it, you lose money. -Erratic schedule that prevents you from having a consistent personal life.
