Pros

Low expectations for analytical skills during employment. However, HR acts like they screen for analytical skills.

Cons

Deposit / Retail ( Checking/Debit) has shallow leadership and managers with a title of “Head of …”. One manager’s definition of analytics was dumping query extract in an excel, run a pivot and throwing it at the Product Manager so you could tell them “It’s all in there” Credit card teams have some genuine good leaders coming in from top 5 banks. Hopefully they stay and change the place and analytics culture. Digital analytics team sits on the same floor as call center employees. Of course, noisy. Senior managers hoard meeting room for the day when they are visiting. No coffee on 2nd floor. Go to 1st floor for coffee where they have one person whose job is to keep the industrial coffee machines running. Another office is actually a small section of a floor rented; similar to number of rooms in a Doctors office. 2-3 tables squeezed in each room.

Pros

Generous amount of PTO !

Cons

-Pay insanely low in comparison to other financial institutions -Sales goals are beyond ridiculous for tellers -Open 7 days a week so work/life balance is awful (if part time except to work every single weekend, BOTH DAYS) -Management promotes/hires their friends & only cares about their “inner circle” so if you’re not part of the “inner circle” GOOD LUCK (you will know based on how you are treated) -Management from the top only cares about numbers which trickles down to the branch level resulting in being heavily micromanaged
