Pros

Worst job ever. They accept all the people that the other banks kicked out because all the customers sucked.

Cons

Dont get me started on management. They only care about sell sell sell to get more commission. I had 3 separate managers at 2 different branches. ALL OF THEM HAVE NO SOULS.

Pros

A lot of PTO. The PTO is very generous TD but unfortunately they cannot seem to hold their staff long enough for you to be able to even take any PTO.

Cons

Lots of overtime, the fraud is rampant, and the upper management is only worried about making sales and not their employees. They claim they care but in reality all they want is to force credit cards on people and HELOCs. TD is so cheap and refuses to update their systems so the risk of cashing fraud is very high and they will lay the blame completely on the employee. This job essentially requires you to be a detective so you can catch the massive amount of fraud that walks through the door when in reality they could change their business model to not allow so much fraud to walk through the door. This company does not have your best interest at heart.

Pros

The benefits and paid time off are amazing. To be able to schedule 208+ hours of PTO at the beginning and the year and they don't have the be approved by a manager is amazing. Have a child? Get 6 months of paid leave minimum.

Cons

Just like every job, the ceiling to for growth and potential has the chance to be crippled by your managers. If you are African American and work within the umbrella of ITS , you WILL NOT get promoted. Within the US and Canada, there is not a single representation of color within the organization above level 1. In fact, the worst performing agents were recently promoted over the seasoned African Americans for the 4th time I have been employed here. There is no reason a person who just got out of training should be promoted above the agent who trained them for the same position.
