Pros

- Profit sharing plan is the best - good people to work with -good training -Great work life balance, a lot of flexibility with scheduling is what keeps me there

Cons

-Terrible benefits through manulife -They only send you on courses and pay for your studies when you get a promotion, they don;t want to fork out the money to allow you to take your credentials before you apply for positions which weakens your chance at getting promoted. -Very sales focussed, the focus is not on the client, if you want to get anywhere in the company you need to push sales or you don;t get promoted -They do not pay you enough and expect you to have 12 heads.

- Lots of fantastic people to work with - Opportunities outside of the job to learn about securities sector - Exciting work environment/corporate culture - Innovative in work processes

Cons

- job functions are often repetitive - budget cut backs have led to a reduction in middle management pushing more responsibilities to lower level employees - pay is not in line with work demanded - opportunities to grow within departments exist but limited support is offered when looking outside of department (opposite to values in TD retail banking)
