Pros

-Lots of PTO- about 7 hrs every pay period -Co-workers are cool and easy to work with -great hours if you're in school and need flexibility

Cons

-a lot of favoritism; dictates whether you get promoted or not -heavily sales oriented. I've seen people who knew everything but was so so at sales be overlooked for people who know nothing about operations or other products but sold credit cards well -managers and ASMs love to gossip and it can cause discord btwn employees and management -being open sundays is pointless. Now that penny arcade is done, it's very slow -few full time positions -tellers have the most responsibility but get paid the least

Pros

Some career growth potential if you are a YES man/schmoozer. Occasional perk, like get out 15 minutes early raffle/free board game.

Cons

Do not value experienced hires. I have come to know that very few people, if any, from the training group have the same level of experience as me, if not the entire dept. I thought it might count for something but that's NOT the case, just an entry-level approval level of authority. Additionally, I have been called unprofessional by a coach aka Manager. My character and work ethic have been questioned, all of which are unfounded. One Coach(who does the recruiting) initially told me when I first started that they were impressed by my background, but since then, my numerous contributions, not just for the dept, but TD bank as a whole, have been ignored or(I received emails instructing me to not question any process/call anyones baby "ugly" Total chop shop when you show any level of intelligence.

Pros

They are very diverse. Ethnicity does not matter at all in the call center. The branches are more "conservative"

Cons

They don't pay you enough for what you have to put up with. It is very easy to get stuck in a position. They have also lowered their standards as far as who they hire.
