Pros

Retirement match, seemed to be a good job upon college graduation.

Cons

This company is stuck in the dark ages. I was recruited to work here out of college. I knew within the first week that it was not the place for me. I talked with all the managers to look for a new position in the company that would be a better fit for my skill set. About 6 months in I was harassed by a male on my team. This man was very disliked by many employees in the company but was never fired because of his knowledge of the tool. I brought it up to HR and filed a sexual harassment complaint. What did they do? Shoved it under a rug and told me that they couldn't do anything. If you are a young woman who stands up for herself and wants to be a leader in your field, then find somewhere else to go. This company is not a healthy place.

Pros

In general, lower level positions are insulated from a lot of the pain that comes from the top. If you can find a lower level job and stay under the radar, there's little work you'll have to actually do. The stats they create for their employees are almost entirely made up so its not like you really need to do anything other than learn how to produce the numbers (not the work) they are looking for.

Cons

High level leadership (director and above) are completely unqualified for the positions they hold. Their decisions at times seem nonsensical and most leaders live in constant fear of being "found out" or your typical 'imposter syndrome' situation. You "job" is to make them look good, not get work done. Whatever it takes to prove them right is what's required. Any attempts to show them a better way, or that they may have made an error in judgement is swiftly and severally punished immediately. Yes-men, innexperience, and mousy personalities get rewarded/promoted here. This is not a place for someone that stands out as a hard worker. If you're looking for an employer that will pay you a mediocre salary, that you can earn often while literally doing no work at all other than agreeing with everything management says (even when its very obviously not true) this is the place for you. You can coast to retirement without doing much real work at all. You just have to be willing to sacrifice your integrity and work ethic.
