Pros

Very relaxed schedule as long as you’re making goal. Oftentimes the only fiber option in the area, so lot of easy sales to be had pre-sale. Very flexible schedule.

Cons

D2D. Lots of promotion changes. Even customers with a 2 year lock in rate experience these price increases. Tons of issues with installations. The chargebacks can get quite ridiculous (especially when customers cancel due to the technician). Not much growth opportunities.

Pros

The potential for training opportunities was great when available and for the most part, the benefits were really good minus base pay. The flexible hours and remote options were also a plus.

Cons

A pitfall is where some leadership has the "good ol boy" club remanence so unless you're in good with certain people you will encounter issues trying to grow/attain promotions and may have to endure added stressors. This is what was observed and is highly dependent on the person's line of leadership.

Depending on the market you work in supervisors can be great to work with. Not a lot of micromanagement.

Cons

After a few years there's no room for growth within the company as they generally have 1 person handle responsibilities of 2-3 different jobs. Pay for this industry is on the low side.
