      Pros

      Average benefits package. Medical & 401k nothing special.

      Cons

      Poor management. Senior leadership and managers are extremely ill equipped for their roles. Morale is exceptionally poor. Latest round of hires worst so far including the news director. Work / life balance is as bad as it gets. You will be asked to do much more than the position you were hired for with no additional benefits. Expect to work on holidays and weekends.

      Favoritism and ethics are a big problem

      Pros

      Many attempts at team building. They try to come across as forward thinking. Sales goals are easily met. The station has a solid reputation with viewers. The sales team receives a lot of leads that make their sales goals easy to meet.

      Cons

      Inappropriate hires. They hire and promote realatives. Not taking advantage of an employee's skill set. Lack of professional development opportunities. Poor quality of internet products and no maintenance once the sale is achieved. Favoritism. Overstaffed in sales and understaffed in news. No accountability for true sales. They rely too much on advertising agencies for new business, very few local commercials are produced for new business. No leadership, no consistency. They lead in the dark and make it up as they go.
