Pros

Good coworkers to work with. Good location.

Cons

Poor management, allowing a husband and wife to manage a station as GM and Cheif Engineer. Turn around has gone up 75% or more and nothing has been done. They higher new engineers with hardly any experience and treat them better than the ones they already have.

Pros

Do you want to work for a company that "puts its employees first", is "innovative", and has a "clear vision and company direction". Then don't work here, TEGNA has none of those qualities. You're just another number on a spreadsheet, and if it any point you are no longer beneficial to the corporate bottom line & it's shareholders you will likely be laid off

Cons

Very low pay, even lower job security, but hey Dave Lougee might comp you $100 on christmas if he's feeling generous! Don't think I can reiterate enough the extremely poor corporate leadership and strategy. Tried to apply the same business strategy for 5-6 years after the split with Gannett and their solution was layoff after layoff.

Pros

Some very good people work (worked here). They pay us for the moment.

Cons

In 2 to 3 years Tim Fagan has managed to take G/O Digital from over 500 employees to 30. Great job Tim! You are the most incompetent "leader" I've ever met.
