      Pros

      Hybrid work environment. Good location. Pretty good benefits.

      Cons

      Highly toxic work environment. Lack of clear direction and communication with staff. Management only focuses on cost-cutting and executive compensation. No loyalty to employees.

      Good Company Trying to Evolve with a Changing Industry

      Pros

      Good benefits package/PTO. Work location feels like family. Journalism is still a focus. The company strives for high quality content.

      Cons

      Professional development and advancement can feel stifled at times. Sometimes local management prefers for you to “stay inside your box,” instead of moving the people with the best skillsets to the most appropriate positions. With the financials of local television news changing, there is too much focus on profitability. There is also concern about being packed and sold to private equity, who would suck out as much money as possible and leave the stations to whither and die.
