Cons
Tegna is not a company that values it's employees long term. They specialize in hiring young an inexperienced employees when it comes to broadcast. Out of all of the media companies Tegna is the least competitive. Their pay scale is at the bottom. The pay is better in higher markets but they trail the other stations. Tegna is the broadcast company that split from Gannett. They are still trying to figure out where their place is in the media landscape.
