Pros

TEGNA pays better than other companies for Multimedia Journalists, but you get paid the same as other MMJs, even if you have more experience than they do. That's just the broadcast news industry. Overall, benefits are great and the work culture is better than other news companies I've worked for....really, anything is better than Nexstar, Scripps, or Sinclair right now.

Cons

Left news industry overall, so any cons I write are really because I chose to switch industries. News business is demanding and fast-paced. TEGNA is a good company, but they can get better at seeking opportunities for employees willing to stay in the company, but move to other areas.
